What is IELTS?
International English Language testing system (IELTS) is standardized pre requisite exam which is measures the proficiency of English Language of candidates who are willing to study or work in English speaking countries. IELTS results are valid for 2 years. In Gujarat the IELTS exam is conducted at six locations; Ahmedabad, Baroda, Surat, Rajkot, Anand and Mehsana. It is marked nine band scale from non user through an expert user.
IELTS- Academic or General Training.
Candidates who are willing to pursue international studies should appear for Academic Module as it is accepted by more than 10000 institutions across the Globe and General training is for those who are willing to migrate to countries like Canada, Australia or UK. Both modules assess four skills; Listening, reading, writing and speaking.
Computer Delivered Test
After achieving success for 30 years in Pen and Paper format, IDP and British council have now introduced Computer Delivered Test for the convenience of test taker. The exam format is same as the paper pen test. The test is conducted at flexible timings and result is usually declared in 5-7 business days.
